Cut The Buttons — last updated: 1 October 2026
Alex Makes built the Cut The Buttons app (com.draft.lineamania) as an ad-supported game with an optional one-time in-app purchase. The game is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page explains, in plain terms, what the app actually does with your information. By using the game, you agree to this policy.
The game does not require you to create an account with us and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location.
To work, the game saves the following locally on your device only (game settings/save area):
This data stays on your device (and in the standard Android app backup, if you have it enabled). It is removed when you uninstall the app.
The game shows ads through Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): “interstitial” ads between levels and “rewarded” ads (for example, to watch the solution of a level). To serve these ads, Google's SDK may collect and process:
AD_ID) and other device/account identifiers; This processing is used to deliver and measure ads and to detect and prevent fraud. Depending on your consent (see below), ads may be personalized or non-personalized. See Google's Privacy & Terms and How Google uses information from apps that use our services.
We do not receive or store this advertising data ourselves — it is handled by Google as an independent provider.
The game uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is played and to improve it. It records gameplay events (for example, when a level is started, completed, or replayed), together with a pseudonymous app-instance identifier and general technical data (device model, operating system and app version, and approximate — not precise — location derived from the IP address). This data is aggregated in our Firebase project and is not used to identify you personally. These events also include your notification-permission status and a purchase event (the product purchased — never your payment details).
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, analytics collection is enabled only after you give consent through the consent form described below; if you decline, no analytics data is collected. You can change your choice at any time from the app's privacy options when available.
Firebase Analytics is provided by Google. See Firebase privacy.
On first launch where required, the game shows Google's consent form (Google User Messaging Platform). Your choice is stored using the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) and determines whether ads are personalized. You can change this choice at any time from the app's privacy options when available, or by resetting/opting out of the advertising ID in your device settings (Android Settings → Google → Ads).
If you choose to sign in with Google Play Games, Google provides the game with: your player profile (display name and avatar), your player ID, your achievements and leaderboard scores, and the game's cloud-save data. This is used only to show leaderboards and achievements and to sync your saved progress across your own devices. If you sign out or never sign in, the game works fully offline and nothing is shared. See Google Play Games privacy.
The only purchase is the optional one-time “Remove Ads” upgrade. The transaction is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We receive only a purchase confirmation (an order/token); we never see or store your payment details. See Google Play Terms of Service.
If enabled, the game can show local reminders (for example, “your daily challenge is ready”). These notifications are scheduled on your device; no personal data is collected for them. You can disable them in the app settings or in Android's notification settings.
When the app crashes or encounters an error, Google Play may collect technical diagnostics (such as device model, OS version, app version and the time of the error) through Android vitals / Play Console so we can find and fix bugs. This is handled by Google Play, not by a separate tracking SDK inside the game.
Third-party companies that operate parts of the game process information only to perform their tasks, under their own privacy policies:
We rely on the security of the platforms and providers above. No method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The game is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, contact us and we will act to remove it.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, or port your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Most data is controlled by Google; you can exercise advertising choices through the in-app consent options or your device's ad settings. For any request, contact us at the address below.
The game may open external pages (for example, the app store page). We do not operate these sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect once posted on this page, and the “last updated” date above will change accordingly.
